Analysis of the client's brand design language and market positioning. Competitive landscape review and synthesis into a foundational design language that is distinct, ownable, and manufacturable.
UX Structure
Using 3D rough form studies, we map physical interaction flows against actual usage environments. Button placement, app connectivity, and ergonomic logic are resolved before any aesthetic decision is made.
Form Development
Detail design and surface language are developed from the established brand grammar and UX structure. CMF is explored and applied. All deliverables are ready for prototyping and aligned with production.

What does your design process look like?
We start with your brand and how the product will be used, map the interaction in rough 3D forms, then develop the detailed form and CMF with production in mind. We stay involved through DFM review and mass production.
How long does a typical project take?
It depends on the scope. A concept, a working prototype and full mass production support each run on very different timelines, so we set a clear schedule together at the start.
Do you handle everything in-house?
Design is done in house by Ordo. For engineering, tooling and mass production we work with partner engineers with over ten years of experience, while Ordo stays your single point of contact.
